60 European citizens committed to creating theatre that proposes new storytelling experiences about the recent financial crisis.
Mathilde Delahaye, 23, is a theatre director. Her first projects are Blessures au visage, by Howard Barker, Hamelin, by Juan Mayorga and La Sorcière du Placard aux Balais (a children’s play). Those performances were created through a company she founded in Sciences-Po Paris in 2008, and were shown at the Festival d’Avignon, in Paris and on tour. In 2011 she directed 4.48 Psychosis, by Sarah Kane, for the Fall Festival of Hampshire (MA, USA). In 2012 she directed a performance based on Les Cahiers d’Ivry, by Antonin Artaud. She then founded the Company D911 with actors from l’ESAD-Paris, their 2013 program is a research workshop in theatrical forms involving multidisciplinary artists. In 2012/2013, she was a student in directing at le Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique. In 2013/2014 Mathilde will be a student at the TNS (National Theater of Strasbourg).
